     Ball Mill
Ball mill is a key equipment for grinding materials after they have been crushed. This beneficiation equipment is widely used in the production industries of cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractory materials, fertilizers, black and non-ferrous metal beneficiation, and glass ceramics. It performs dry or wet grinding on various ores and other grindable materials.

Working principle:
The ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device, driven by external gears, with two compartments and a grid type ball mill. The material enters the first chamber of the mill uniformly through the feeding device through the feeding hollow shaft screw. There is a stepped lining plate or corrugated lining plate in this chamber, which contains steel balls of different specifications. The rotation of the cylinder generates centrifugal force to bring the steel balls to a certain height and then drop them, causing heavy impact and grinding on the material. The warehouse is lined with steel balls. The powder is discharged through the discharge grate to complete the grinding operation.

The main component of a straight tube grid type ball mill is a cylinder with a smaller diameter and a larger length, which is slowly rotated by a transmission device. The material is fed into the feeding end of the cylinder, and the material is crushed inside the cylinder due to the impact and self grinding of the steel ball and the ore itself. Due to the continuous feeding of materials, the pressure causes the material inside the cylinder to move from the feeding end to the discharge end. The material that reaches the particle size of the finished product is discharged from the discharge end of the cylinder. During wet grinding, the material is carried out by water flow; During dry grinding, the material is carried out by the airflow. The straight tube grid type ball mill has a discharge grid at the discharge end, and the mill relies on grid plates to forcibly discharge ore. The slurry surface inside the cylinder is low, reducing ore overgrinding and preventing the discharge of steel balls. Under the same production conditions, the production capacity is higher than that of overflow type mills. Rolling bearings are used at both ends of the cylinder to replace sliding bearings.
